Redneck Woman (Reality Remix)  [Verse 1] Well, I done never, Read words that's typed I don't like to solve problems with my words I'd rather get drunk and fight Whammy on my Grandma Or my little one Or a random passerby My boyfriend takes good care of me

And gave me these black eyes No, I ain't got no degree And I can't even rhyme Got my ‘leven kids with me And not one dad in sight Since I'm a redneck woman, never been to a mall
Just the product of the incest From my sister and my Pa And I keep them engine car parts On my front yard all year long Not that you can see 'em Since my lawn's so overgrown Callin' all you white-trash skanks In Confederate Country Get your hands off my man, bitch!
Or you got to deal with me! Cuz I'm tough Hell Yeah! (Hell Yeah!)

2] It's ain't no secret That my stuff's real prime Get ma number offa that bathroom stall Call me for a good time
That's a real number wrote it myself So I's can find a good man No, there's no such thing as a Sothern fag 'Cuz they've all dug my clam
You might think I'm nasty And you might call me poor But in my mind and in my heart (Offscreen): You're just a backwoods whore! Hey!
I'm a redneck woman And you stay off my land My Grampy stole it fair and square From that American Injun Stan And my family's been residing here For over a hundred years And we don't want our country filled with Immigrants and queers So here to all out here screamin' loud" The South will rise again" Let me get a big hell yeah From a  southern minute man    Hell Yeah! (Hell Yeah!)

[Verse 3] So I'm a redneck woman that's all I am Proud to be from the USA The place that brought you spam
And I go to church on Sundays Cuz I'm a god-fearin woman The preacher uses all big words
That I don't understand So here's to all the people That never cross that county line

Let's stay home in our shit towns Until the end of time Hell Yeah! (Hell Yeah!)

BEATRX

Rock and Roll is our American legacy, not the Confederacy. Guns guns guns! Lay down the sword and pick up a traditional instrument. What the fuck is wrong with you guys? We can agree on music, so we can agree on other things.

These are songs 2 good 2 B forgotten. Many had insipid, uninspired beats back in the day and rockabilly can fix this problem.  These are Good songs that need a big beat treatment and a drummer who knows how to use the bass drum. I’m looking for a metal drummer to jam with. Do these 44 (55?) songs only. If I ever have to jam to Hey Joe or House of the Rising Sun again, I will die a little inside.

Beatrix is the alternative name of the group. BeatRX. The beat is the remedy. Actually named after my car Beatrix.

I play enough of the structure of the song all the way through and sing it if no one else knows it.  So the trouble with every band  I was even in, is solved. What songs will we do? Everybody knows different parts of different songs that no one else knew except for maybe slow ride house of the rising sun and hey joe.  Me Bernie and Carl made some good noise.

A blend of Metal and Rockabilly is what I'm looking  for.. Lots of solo verses.   So, I see it very much like Bluegrass in a way where they then do a verse and someone does a solo. Any musician can come up and play if they know the song and I would make a playlist available for people to peruse. Verse solo verse solo. Like “Hillbilly Cat”.  Solo verse solo solo verse verse solo. What I call American Dankbilly. What songs you can you jam with?

A bass player that wants to play some simpler good time dancing music is also welcome to join, because it turns out these songs got a dancing beat. The beat is the remedy.  I have an Acoustic 371 for a bass player to use. I’m seeing drums, guitar and bass as the core while trying to bridge rockabilly and metal. On simple karaoke machines. Some of us make too many mistakes to be professionals but we still need to play.

We should have the battery power to play anywhere. Not trying to fill a stadium here, but events with 10 to 50 people. My karaoke machine fits a guitar and I can plug in and play  beats offa my phone with an Aux cord.

I sing without a microphone. We could probably do higher decibel stuff, but it takes away from the community spirit and self-sufficiency this concept would engender.   A metal version of Surf City and a Surf beat to I know you by the Dave Clark Five of British invasion fame. It's genre busting time.

We set up and play at events that have no music.  A flash band. Every group like this has a different songlist. Join protests with live music to offer. Remind me to add "All You Fascists bound to Lose" by Woody GuthrieYou see, we pass out a sheet that shows all 40? songs and what key it’s in. You can follow along for one thing and the sheet also includes an urging for people to buy or stream this music you are hearing.  Of course. You got your F and C harmonicas. Check out which songs are in these two keys. Just jump in.  It’s a new concept to help rebuild communities.   These are the songs I do and the ones I’m doing. Join me and note the keys of this songlist are constantly going higher. I am testing to see if this creates sone kind of positive momentum. C#M, D , Em etc

Am I looking for applause? No. Looking to do traditional gigs playing “songs people like”?  No.  Not at all. We have to get away from this giant comfort zone of pop culture.  I feel like a trained monkey the few times I've performed. It doesn’t seem natural. What sells isn’t what is good. It’s easy, soft and sweet.

I want to make music with people in all these new situations we are going to find ourselves in.

Farmers markets, flash markets, events and civic gatherings. It wont be about rioting in the streets it will be about commerce in the streets. We unhinge from the global market and become independent and communitarian.

Music will be needed, and we can’t depend on people who are all about creating their own brands or wearing outrageous costumes with one new gimmick after another. Stage presence doesn’t make the music better, it only seems like it.

I see it as more playing at events and not in front of an audience.  Opening up for these Cover copy People with costume fetishes and over-sexualized pop music have had their day. We want to make some authentic American music to preserve good songs, forgotten album cuts, or songs never heard. Give old, tired songs a beat treatment. Rockabilly was born in Appalachia and so was rock and roll.  ROCK AND ROLL IS YOU LEGACY NOT THE CONFEDERACY.

CHANGES IN LATITUDES 130

Intro:  G   D   A   G D
120 BPM

I took off for a weekend last month  Just to try and recall the     whole year    All of the faces and all of the places

    Wonderin' where they all disappeared

Bm                  F#m

I didn't ponder the question too long    I was hungry and went out for a bite

    G                  D

Ran into a chum with a bottle of rum and we wound up drinkin' all night

G                                           D  It's these changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes

              Nothing remains quite the same

G                  With all of our running and all of our cunning    if we couldn't laugh we would all go insane

Reading departure signs in some big airport

Reminds me of the places I've been

Visions of good times that brought so much pleasure

Makes me want to go back again

If it suddenly ended tomorrow I could somehow adjust to the fall      Good times and riches and son of a b**ches I've seen more than I can recall

Chorus:

These changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes Nothing remains quite the same

Through all of the islands and all of the highlands If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane

I think about Paris when I'm high on red wine

I wish I could jump on a plane So many nights I just dream of the ocean God I wish I was sailin' again

Oh, yesterday's over my shoulder So I can't look back for too long

There's just too much to see waiting in front of me

And I know that I just can't go wrong

With these changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes

Nothing remains quite the same     With all of my running and all of my cunning

If I couldn't laugh I just would go insane

If we couldn't laugh just would go insane

20 HILLBILLY HIGHWAY

HILLBILLY  HIGHWAY HILLBILLY HIGHWAY  Steve Earle

Simp 130

My granddaddy was a miner, but he finally saw the light
He didn't have much, just a beat-up truck and a dream about a better life
Grand mama cried when she waved goodbye, never heard such a lonesome sound
Pretty soon the dirt road turned into blacktop, Detroit City bound
Down that hillbilly highway
On that hillbilly highway That old hillbilly highway Goes on and on

Now he worked and saved his money so that one day he might send
My old man off to college, to use his brains and not his hands
Grand mama cried when she waved goodbye, never heard such a lonesome sound
But daddy had himself a good job in Houston, one more rollin' down

that old hillbilly highway That old hillbilly highway That old hillbilly highway Goes on and on
On and on, on and on Here it goes

Granddaddy rolled over in his grave the day that I quit school
I just sat around the house playin' my guitar, Daddy said I was a fool
My mama cried when I said goodbye, I never heard such a lonesome sound
Now I'm standin' on this highway and if you're going my way
You know where I'm bound

Bound that hillbilly highway On that hillbilly highway
That old hillbilly highway Goes on and on
Hmm, yeah that's the road I'm on it

There is freedom within, there is freedom without
Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup
There's a battle ahead, many battles are lost
But you'll never see the end of the road While you're traveling with me

Hey now, hey now Don't dream it's over Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in They come, they come To build a wall between us We know they won't win

2 Now I'm towing my car, there's a hole in the roof  My possessions are causing me suspicion but there's no proof
In the paper today tales of war and of waste  But you turn right over to the T.V. page

Hey now, hey now Don't dream it's over Hey now, hey now When the world comes in They come, they come To build a wall between us We know they won't win

3  Now I'm walking again to the beat of a drum And I'm counting the steps to the door of your heart
Only the shadows ahead barely clearing the roof Get to know the feeling of liberation and release

Hey now, hey now Don't dream it's over Hey now, hey now When the world comes in They come, they come To build a wall between us Don't ever let them win Songwriters: Neil Finn

We hear the same 30 songs over and over with classic rock, when the catalog for these 30 bands included well over 1000 songs. Where's the rest of the good songs? Let's bring back songs that have stood the test of time. Great songs that didn’t get the airplay and songs that need an update or are simply unrecognized classics that need a bigger beat. Truthfully the repetition has lulled America to sleep.

Then let’s abandon the formulaic idea of performance where the musical snobs seem to be the ones making the rules.  The head trip dudes that grab your guitar and play “five songs easy to play at parties.” So many musicians looking to feed their egos and need for applause and I always found that to be the band breakers.

26   REDNECK WOMAN

[Verse 1]
Well, I've done never
Read words that's typed
I don't like to solve problems with my words
I'd rather get drunk and fight
Whammy on my Grandma Or my littlelest
Or just random passerby
My boyfriend takes good care of me
And gave me these black eyes
No, I ain't got no degree
And I can't even write
Got my eleven kids with me
And not one dad in sight[Chorus]
Since I'm a redneck wI've never been to a mall
Just the product of the incest From my sister and my Pa
And I keep them engine car parts On my front yard all year long
Not that you can see 'em Since my lawn's so overgrown
Callin' all you white-trash skanks In Confederate Country
Get your hands off my man, bitch!Or you got to deal with me! 'Cuz I'm tough
Hell Yeah! (Hell Yeah!)
Verse 2
It's ain't no secret That my stuff's real prime
Get the number off that bathroom stall Call me for a good time
That's a real number
From myself So I's can find a good man
No, there's no such thing as a Sothern fag 'Cuz they've all dug my clam
You might think I'm nasty  And you might call me poor
But in my mind and in my heart
(Offscreen): You're just a backwoods whore!
Hey! im a redneck woman  And you stay off my land
My Grampy stole it fair and square
From that American Injun band
And my family's been residing here For over a hundred years
And we don't want our country filled with Immigrants and queers
So here to all out here screamin' loud "The South will rise again"
Let me get a big hell yeah From an one minute southern man
Hell Yeah! (Hell Yeah!)
[Verse 3]So I'm a redneck woman And that's all I am
Proud to be from the USA
The place that brought you spam
And I go to church on Sundays Cuz I'm a god-fearin woman
The preacher uses all big words That I don't understand
So here's to all the people That never cross that county line
Let's stay home in our shit towns
Until the end of time Hell Yeah! (Hell Yeah!)

   27   MARY LOU

My roommate Don Francois grew up on a farm.. I grew up without a single pet, cat or dog. So one day I mentioned it might be fun to have a cat and he said the barn cat just had some kittens. We went to his parents farm and here wee 5 kittens just over a month old. Some ordinary colored cats and this guy. Distinctly different than the others I said I'd be willing to adopt this one but it was the one Dons mother wanted to keep. An aggresive player, we were drawn to each other and his mother relented. "Boy or girl?" and I was told "pretty sure it's a male." I named him Roger after my favorite ball player, Roger Maris. In the hallway of the flophouse Don and I were living at, I would throw a small bouncy ball Roger would chase as it ricocheted in every direction. I couldn't have asked for a more loving playful pet. I would take her to friends' house when I visited. Finally it came time to get Roger fixed and the vet said that he had transitioned to female.. So rough and tumble Roger became the ferocious, razor-clawed Mary Lou. At two years old we moved from Connecticut to Arizona. I walked her on a leash at an RV park in Indiana and we walked around a small pond at a rest stop in Kansas and nearly lost her in a cornfield in Nebraska. Our most memorable moment was spending the afternoon at Shiprock New Mexico. Unleashed there were no plants and I could see her easily. Then we packed in in and headed for Tucson. I lived at a friends for a couple weeks waiting for my roommates to arrive. Mary Lou had gotten a case of mange and had to fight with other cats while living under a Pontiac Tempest not to mention a totally insane neighbor dog that would get loose occasionally. Finally we settled in at 5801 Swinging A on the far west side and she became desert kitty.

28 SHUT DOWN

Tach it up, tach it up, buddy gonna shut you down
It happened on the strip where the road is wide
Two cool sharks standing side-by-side  (Ya)
My fuel-injected stingray and a 413 We're revin' up our engines and it sounds real mean
Tach it up, tach it up, buddy gonna shut you down
2 Declinin' numbers at an even rateAt the count of one we both accelerate
My Stingray is light, my slicks are starting to spin
and the 413's really diggin' in Gotta be cool now, power shift here we go
Super stock Dodge is winding out in low but
My fuel-injected Stingray's really startin' to go
To get the traction I'm ridin' my clutch
My pressure plate's burnin' that machine's too much
 (Saxophone/Guitar Solo)
Pedals to the floor, hear his dual quads drink
And now the 413's lead is startin' to shrink
He's hot with ram induction, but it's understood
I got a fuel-injected engine sittin' under my hood

Shut it off, shut it off, buddy now I shut you down

8 RED CLAY HALO

{c:Key of A}

130 simple solo F#m

[A]All the girls all dance with the boys from the city,

And they don't care to dance with [E]me.

Now it [A]ain't my fault that the fields are muddy,

And the red clay [E]stains my [E]feet.

And it's [A]under my nails and it's under my collar,  And it shows on my Sunday [E]clothes. Though I [A]do my best with the soap and the water,

But the darned old [E]dirt won't [A]go.

But [D]when I pass through the [A]pearly gate,

Will my [E]gown be gold in[A]stead? Or just a [D]red clay robe with [A]red clay wings,

And a [E]red clay halo for my [A]head

 c:Preverse}

Now it's [A]mud in the spring and it's dust in the summer,When it blows in a crimson [E]tide.

Until [A]trees and leaves and the cows are the colour, Of the dirt on the [E]mountain[G]side.

But [D]when I pass through the [A]pearly gate,Will my [E]gown be gold in[A]stead?

Or just a [D]red clay robe with [A]red clay wings,And a [E]red clay halo for my [A]head

 {c:Solo}

Now [A]Jordan's banks they're red and muddy,And the rolling water is [E]wide.

But I [A]got no boat, so I'll be good and muddy,When I get to the [E]other [A]side.

Baby what do you say we just get lost leave this one horse like two revels without a cause

I got people in Boston aint you r daddy still in desMoinesWe can load what we own in the back of a U-Haul van

Couple of modern day Moses' searching for the promised land
We can go four hundred miles before we stop for gas
We can drive for a day and then we'll take a look at the map
 Heads Carolina, tails California
 Somewhere greener, somewhere warmer

Up in the mountains, down by the ocean
Where, it don't matter as long as we're going
Somewhere together, I've got a quarter
 Heads Carolina, tails California
We're gonna get outta here

If we have to ride a Greyhound bus
Boy we're bound to outrun The bad luck that's been tailing us
Heads Carolina, tails California Somewhere greener, somewhere warmer
Up in the mountains, down by the oceanWhere, it don't matter as long as we're going

36   TAPESTRY

  E B7 E B7
My life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue,
   E B7 E B7
an everlasting vision of the everchanging view,
  F#m7 B A B
a wondrous woven magic in bits of blue and gold,
  Amaj7 G#m7 F#m B7
a tapestry to feel and see, impossible to hold.

Emaj7 B9 Emaj7 B9
Once amid the soft silver sadness in the sky
      E B9 E B7
there came a man of fortune, a drifter passing by
   F#m7 B A B
he wore a torn and tattered cloth around his leathered hide
      Amaj7 G#m7 F#m B7 F#m7 B7
and a coat of many colors, yellow-green on either side.

   G D7sus D7 Gmaj7 D7
He moved with some uncertainty, as if he didn't know
G D7sus D7 Gmaj7 D7
just what he was there for, or where he ought to go
B Gb7 Abm7 B
once he reached for something golden hanging from a tree
        Emaj7 Gb
and his hand came down - empty.

E B7 E B7
Soon within my tapestry along the rutted road
   E B7 E B7
he sat down on a river rock and turned into a toad,
   F#m7 B A B
it seemed that he had fallen into someone's wicked spell,
      Amaj7 G#m7 F#m B7
and I wept to see him suffer, though I didn't know him well.

F C7 F C7
As I watched in sorrow, there suddenly appeared
  F C7 F C7
a figure gray and ghostly beneath a flowing beard
   Gm7 C Bb C
in times of deepest darkness, I've seen him dressed in black
       Bbmaj7 Am7 Gm C7
now my tapestry's unravelling; he's come to take me back,
     Gm7 D9sus Dm7/4
he's come to take me back.

CHANGES IN LATITUDES 130

Intro:  G   D   A   G D

I took off for a weekend last month  Just to try and recall the     whole year    All of the faces and all of the places Wonderin' where they all disappeared

Bm                  F#m

I didn't ponder the question too long    I was hungry and went out for a bite

    G                  D

Ran into a chum with a bottle of rum and we wound up drinkin' all night  G              D  It's these changes in latitudes, changes in attitude  Nothing remains quite the same

G                  With all of our running and all of our cunning    if we couldn't laugh we would all go insane

Reading departure signs in some big airport Reminds me of the places I've been

Visions of good times that brought so much pleasure Makes me want to go back again

If it suddenly ended tomorrow I could somehow adjust to the fall      Good times and riches and son of a b**ches I've seen more than I can recall

Chorus: These changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes Nothing remains quite the same

Through all of the islands and all of the highlands If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane

2   I think about Paris when I'm high on red wine

I wish I could jump on a plane So many nights I just dream of the ocean God I wish I was sailin' again

Oh, yesterday's over my shoulder So I can't look back for too long There's just too much to see waiting in front of me

And I know that I just can't go wrong  With these changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes

Nothing remains quite the same     With all of my running and all of my cunning

If I couldn't laugh I just would go insane

If we couldn't laugh just would go insane

  MARY LOU

    SHUT DOWN

 Bb                      Db          Eb       Ab

Tach it up, tach it up, buddy gonna shut you down

Ab

It happened on the strip where the road is wide

Ab

Two cool shorts standing side-by-side  (Ya)

   Db

My fuel-injected stingray and a 413

      Ab

We're revin' up our engines and it sounds real mean

Tach it up, tach it up, buddy gonna shut you down

Declinin' numbers at an even rate

At the count of one we both accelerate

My Stingray is light, my slicks are starting to spin

But the 413's really diggin' in

Gotta be cool now, power shift here we go

Super stock Dodge is winding out in low but

My fuel-injected Stingray's really startin' to go

To get the traction I'm ridin' my clutch

My pressure plate's burnin' that machine's too much

 (Saxophone/Guitar Solo)

Pedals to the floor, hear his dual quads drink

And now the 413's lead is startin' to shrink

He's hot with ram induction, but it's understood

I got a fuel-injected engine sittin' under my hood

Shut it off, shut it off, buddy now I shut you down

Notes: Arranged by NRBQ with contrasting chords for electric clavinet. To

reconcile for solo guitar, add D chord at last beat of verse, and instead

of Cadd13 to C in the chorus, try C6add9 (8x7755) to Cadd13 (875555). A

simplified arrangement for solo guitar accompaniment in the 1st octave

would be: Verse- G, Bm, Am7, Am/D (xx0210), G, Bm, Am7, Am/D to D (on last

beat), Chorus- C6add9 (x3x230), C, etc.

Coda    ICONoCLASTICS or iconOclastics

#rockabillyvisionquest

I am working on 4 sets of 11 songs each. I have a nice Beringer amp and a nice Yeti microphone for recording into the computer. Yeti Blue, or something, thanks to Emily.   So then I figured, ah’ll just use some Youtube beats.

So, I hope it ain’t too discurgin’ when I try to play a song to any sort of crowd. I haven’t played a gig for like, 40 years. I like to say I like to create and I like to play, but I don’t like to perform. Not looking for approval or applause. The problem today are todays musicians who are all about their image and infectiously, irresistible music so they can get a billion views on Youtube.

My #rockabilly visionquest then comprises several things. First, why do I bond with the Hillbilly culture? A song I’d like to do is Hillbilly Cat by the Hillbilly Hellcats. I love coal songs such as “don’t look now” by Creedence and Mother of a Miners Child by Gordon Lightfoot. Workin’ in a coal mine is an oldie I’d like to do.

Hillbilly Highway written by Steve Earle and as performed by the Road Hammers is another.

Go to my Youtube channel, John A Almada, and check out my “American Dankbilly” and “ICONoCLASSICS” playlists. iconOclastics has these 44 songs loaded up front along with the beats I’ll be using so I can find them wherever I can get Wi-fi. 9-3-21 update. Well it’s a year or two later and songs have been re-arranged.

Everyone in bands these days has "personality" and silly costumes and images to uphold and a “brand” to sell. The introverts don’t have many heroes. Fiona Apple and uh…maybe Joni Mitchell? Introverts have no quiet heroes.

I want to create, not perform, but alas, after 30 years of hobby guitar I want to create an alternative to the same old shit, but begging for applause is a wee bit unseemly. A performance vehicle for introverts, a community of artists. Songs are our vocal heritage. Iconoclastics. Rock and roll is the legacy, not the Confederacy. It will be an outreach program to the Trumptards to help them escape their fantasy world.

Fiddle Bango Harp or whatever. This is what I'm talking about, anybody can jump in.   It's a community thing too, connecting in a simple way with people and creating a better grade of performance because of the eschewing (to spit out in disgust) of overplayed pop music, a rich new field to plow. People say I have to play old tired hits so people don’t have to leave their comfort zone. “You have to play what people want to hear”. I’m even getting tired of “classic rock”. You know, I liked “Slow Ride” the first 10,000 times I heard it.

Metal is what I love tirelessly and Rockabilly is where I have found a nugget of energy that turns despair into joy. Metal turns that joy into momentum so intend to blend them into something unique understated and entertaining. Let’s do this.

1   Layla    lyrics in Pelican book

Organizations to distribute surplus. We theoretically eat 90 times a month. Food has to be the most important aspect of life. Mango harvests in Florida is one fruit as an example. When buying, specify minimal spots and not ones that are not completely ripe yet. Millions of them in June before fruit and vegetable stands open up in the more northern states and they need three days to ripen fully.  We need Peoples organizations that maintain shipping and receiving.

CLOSE TO THE EDGE    FOR KARAOKE

Close to the Edge

Yes

A seasoned witch could call you from the depths of your disgrace,
And rearrange your liver to the solid mental grace,
And achieve it all with music that came quickly from afar,
Then taste the fruit of man recorded losing all against the hour
And assessing points to nowhere, leading every single one
A dewdrop can exalt us like the music of the sun,
And take away the plain in which we move,
And choose the course you're running

Down at the edge, round by the corner,
Not right away, not right away
Close to the edge, down by a river,
Not right away, not right away

Crossed the line around the changes of the summer,
Reaching out to call the color of the sky
Passed around a moment clothed in mornings faster than we see
Getting over all the time I had to worry,
Leaving all the changes far from far behind
We relieve the tension only to find out the master's name

Down at the end, round by the corner
Close to the edge, just by a river
Seasons will pass you by
I get up, I get down
Now that it's all over and done,
Now that you find, now that you're whole

My eyes convinced, eclipsed with the younger moon attained with love
It changed as almost strained amidst clear manna from above
I crucified my hate and held the word within my hand
There's you, the time, the logic, or the reasons we don't understand

Sad courage claimed the victims standing still for all to see,
As armored movers took approached to overlook the sea
There since the cord, the license, or the reasons we understood will be

Down at the edge, close by a river
Close to the edge, round by the corner
Close to the end, down by the corner
Down at the edge, round by the river

Sudden call shouldn't take away the startled memory
All in all, the journey takes you all the way
As apart from any reality that you've ever seen and known
Guessing problems only to deceive the mention,
Passing paths that climb halfway into the void
As we cross from side to side, we hear the total mass retain

Down at the edge, round by the corner
Close to the end, down by a river
Seasons will pass you by
I get up, I get down

In her white lace, you could clearly see the lady sadly looking
Saying that she'd take the blame
For the crucifixion of her own domain

I get up,
I get down,
I get up,
I get down

Two million people barely satisfy
Two hundred women watch one woman cry, too late
The eyes of honesty can achieve
How many millions do we deceive each day?
I get up, I get down
I get up, I get down

In charge of who is there in charge of me
Do I look on blindly and say I see the way?
The truth is written all along the page
How old will I be before I come of age for you?
I get up, I get down
I get up, I get down
I get up, I get down

The time between the notes relates the color to the scenes
A constant vogue of triumphs dislocate man, it seems
And space between the focus shape ascend knowledge of love
As song and chance develop time, lost social temperance rules above
Ah, ah

Then according to the man who showed his outstretched arm to space,
He turned around and pointed, revealing all the human race
I shook my head and smiled a whisper, knowing all about the place
On the hill we viewed the silence of the valley,
Called to witness cycles only of the past
And we reach all this with movements in between the said remark

Close to the edge, down by the river
Down at the end, round by the corner
Seasons will pass you by,
Now that it's all over and done,
Called to the seed, right to the sun
Now that you find, now that you're whole
Seasons will pass you by,
I get up, I get down
I get up, I get down
I get up, I get down
I get up
